These top quality cushion covers are hand embroidered with art silk using the chainstitch skills of the Kashmiri craftsmen. The use of this medium, with the colourful designs they specialise in, produces a cushion which is really a work of art. As such they can be used as ornamental upholstery or as functional items of comfort, singly or matched as a set or with other designs as a mixed set. The colours are a mixture of reds mauves,blues and greens with some beige/gold. The design is believed to orginally have come from Persia.
