These top quality cushion covers are hand embroidered with wool using the chainstitch skills of the Kashmiri craftsmen. The design is a large circular area of blue as a background to small blue and pink flowers with a central flower some 3cm diameter edged by olive green and raspberry infills.The corners are of a strong raspberry background with larger pink, blue and lavender flowers superimposed. There is then a one inch wide frame round the outside of the cushion with a blue background with small blocks of olive green and beige.The result is a bright but sophisticated cushion which can be displayed as an individual item or with others in a set or used with different designs as a mixed set.
