These top quality cushion covers are hand embroidered with wool using the chainstitch skills of the Kashmiri craftsmen. The design is a classical double medallion with the centre having a dark blue background and the surround being in maroon with an inner ring of grey. There are flowers of pink, blue and green. The corners repeat the blue of the central medallion. The edges are highlighted with grey and blue outlines. There is then a one inch wide frame round the outside of the cushion with a maroon background.The result is a sophisticated luxurious cushion which can be displayed as an individual item or with others in a set or used with different designs as a mixed set.
