A beautiful hand carved trinket box, made from solid walnut wood grown on the hillsides of Kashmir.
This unique box measures
6" x 4" on the outside
2.5"x4.5"
depth 2". There is a separate tray .75" deep.
The box is lined with green velvet and is opened by a sliding secret lock !
The intricate carving on the lid is in the form of a Lotus flower in a medallion. This pattern is carved delicately in the centre of the bevalled lid and complimented by small carvings in each corner.
