This box has a carving of 'Rose of Kashmir' (the national flower) carved in raised relief in the centre of an oval medallion on the top of the lid. The four corners of the lid have representations of a rose with foliage foliage whilst the outer corners of the carcase have a similar carving.
The box is secured by a secret sliding panel at the bottom of the front. It is slid from left to right to open the box and reversed to secure it.
It is ideal for keeping items safe and concealed. The box measures 8" long by 5" wide. The depth of the inside compartment which is divided into two, is 3".
